We don’t store your passwords…
No, we don’t and will never store your passwords, that’s your privacy. The application works 100% offline. And we don’t think passwords are changed so often that we need a “cloud server” to sync them. If you’re fine with manually setting up your passwords (one time only), you will love YankyPass!

How secure is it?
No master password! We don’t solve the password problem by introducing another password into your life. We assume that you lock your device when not in use. Most iPhones and iPads have fingerprints and other techniques for authentication. When YankyPass is in place, please consider using at least one of them.

You use YankyPass to copy your passwords, so it’s not secure against malwares. But again, typing the password (or any other things to do related to passwords) on a malware-infected machine is always a bad idea.

Bottom line: YankyPass is as secure as your old friend text file or notebook that have passwords in it. If you can keep them safe so far, you will love YankyPass!
